About Us

Happy Being Me was born out of a desire to ensure that our children feel valued, heard, and respected.

We are an empowerment organization that caters primarily to the youth. We cannot go another day hearing about an eight year old committing suicide because he was being bullied about his weight. Our heart breaks while embracing parents who share concern about their youngster coming home from school depressed due to not feeling protected. We will no longer stand by while another child eats alone during lunch. Our children have the right to feel safe no matter who they are, how they are, or what they are...
